How to scan runner QR codes using the Everyrun Organiser app

Using the Everyrun Organiser app is an easy and free method to record race times and publish them via the Everyrun website.

To scan runners, first install the Everyrun Organiser app which is available via the following links (or by searching the app store on each phone type)

This is how the scanner works.

Runners collect a token as they cross the finish line and takes this together with their QR code to the scanner

  1. The scanner scans their QR code and enters their token number into the app.

  2. The scanner adds (or scans) the QR codes of the event organisers/volunteers and allocates the correct role (director, timer etc)

  3. Both the timer and the scanner send their files to the race organiser using the 'share' option.

When the process is complete, you will have a file containing a list of runner IDs and a number that indicates their race position. Sort this list by the position number and combine it with the race times for a complete list of race results.

Note: We recommend you always scan the IDs of any race organisers and volunteers as well. This records their participation in the event and they will receive a thank you email.
